5. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our Site and to generate reports. According to Google, GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers depending on configuration.
6. Google Tag Manager (GTM)
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. GTM is a tag management system; data collection depends on which tags are deployed. Google describes Tag Manager in its documentation and notes that its privacy handling is covered by Google’s policies.
7. Remarketing / Interest-based advertising
We use remarketing so that third-party partners can show our ads to people who previously visited our Site (for example, on other websites or platforms). Remarketing typically relies on cookies or similar identifiers to recognize a browser/device and place it into an audience for ads.
Important: Depending on your state of residence, this type of disclosure may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (e.g., California) and/or targeted advertising (e.g., Colorado/Virginia/Connecticut). See Section 11.
8. How we disclose information

You can also opt out of some interest-based advertising through industry tools like DAA WebChoices and the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).
C) Platform controls

11. US State privacy rights (CA/CO/CT/VA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live and whether a state privacy law applies to our processing, you may have rights such as:

How to submit a request:
Email contact@luxtek.us with subject line “Privacy Request” and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (often 45 days, with extensions where allowed).
Appeals (where required):
If we deny your request and your state law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by emailing contact@luxtek.us with subject “Privacy Appeal.”
California (CCPA/CPRA) – “Do Not Sell or Share” + GPC
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including via a user-enabled global privacy control.
If we receive an opt-out request, we will not sell or share your personal information after receiving it unless you later authorize it again (and we will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months where applicable).
We process recognized opt-out preference signals as valid opt-out requests for the browser/device (and associated profiles where applicable).
Colorado – Universal opt-out mechanisms
Colorado requires covered entities to honor opt-out requests submitted through a universal opt-out mechanism for targeted advertising and data sales (effective July 1, 2024).
Connecticut – opt-out rights + global opt-out signals
Connecticut residents have opt-out rights for sale of personal data and targeted advertising; the CT Attorney General’s office provides guidance and resources.
Virginia – opt-out of targeted advertising
Virginia residents have the right to opt out of processing for targeted advertising (and certain other processing).
